Tabletop Games Top 5

Top 5 | Tabletop Games 2017

2017 was an amazing year for games and I hope you agree! This post may be a little divisive, but remember this is purely opinion on my part. I don’t have much to add, so let’s get to the list!

5) Photosynthesis

An abstract family game with great components! Build trees and impact the growth of other plants.

Current BGG Rating: 7.5

4) Azul

A beautiful abstract family game where you collect sets of tiles to create your art.

Current BGG Rating: 7.9

3) Fog of Love

A two player game that relies heavily on its theme. Develop a love story for two characters and watch the relationship blossom or not.

Current BGG Rating: 7.2

2) Dinosaur Island

Worker placement game where you develop a theme park with dinosaurs. Jurassic Park in a box!

Current BGG Rating: 8.2

1) Gloomhaven

Amazing theme with entirely new races of beings. Tactical strategy type game that is honestly a great pick for groups of friends who don’t have a dungeon master to lead D&D sessions.

Current BGG Rating: 9.1

So what were your top 5 tabletop games in 2017? Any games I may have missed? Let me know in the comments!
