Amongst my multiple groups of friends I am seen as “The Game Guy” – I am pretty sure if you are reading this you have a game guy… if you don’t then you may be the game guy. *note: I am using guy as a generic term not a denotation of gender* So I move a lot of games around to events and damage happens. When that damage happens to an expensive game/investment *read Settlers of Catan* you get angry. After this I found it hard to travel with games, as I was always worrying about what would happen to them. Imagine my surprise when I found the gamefolio case on Kickstarter! Also, imagine my dismay at not finding them sooner.
So I backed at the level to get the Classic Gamefolio 2.0 Case. You can see all that I will get above, but I am really excited to get my hands on this piece of equipment. I am excited because the price point seems more than reasonable, the quality of the materials are noticeable, and you have customization of color… so you can really make it yours. You can find the page HERE. This will perfectly fit two of the last three games I backed recently. You can read more about Crows HERE to see the crow meeples. You can also read about Sunset Over Water HERE to see the beautiful cards I will be holding.
What about you readers, have you ever broken a game while transporting it? How do you protect your boxes? Let me know in the comments, I can’t wait to hear more strategies.
