Sometimes simple mechanics is all you need, and this game really is showcasing that fact. Deja Vu: Fragments of Memory is a neat little “mancala sowing” and “tableau building” driven game. The art is honestly what made me stop, but watching a couple play through videos I knew I had to share this one with you!
Help the nameless girl remember as you traverse various nebulas capturing memory fragments. The other players, of course, are collecting pieces and leaving them behind so the game changes frequently. As you collect pieces and find your fragments you develop your nameless girl to have other abilities ensuring that no game will feel “the same”.
As you can see the components look great and this is Asteria Board Game Creation’s 2nd project. It is already funded so there is no worry of waiting to figure out how your Kickstarter budget will look like. The game is for 2-4 people and lasts about 45 to 90 minutes. Check out their Kickstarter page and see if this is something you will want to back! If you do let me know in the comments below or let me know if you have gotten a chance to play this already!
